Ash is an offline survival assistant. It runs its AI model entirely on your device. This policy explains what that means for your data.
Nothing. Ash has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no server that receives your data. We — the developers of Ash — never see your conversations, photos, voice, or usage.
Aside from the iOS speech recognition noted above, Ash connects to the network for exactly one purpose: downloading the AI model and knowledge packs you choose to install, from Hugging Face. These are ordinary file downloads. No conversation content, image, or personal data is ever sent with them. After downloading, Ash works with no network connection at all for typing, camera, and knowledge-pack lookups; voice input still depends on whether iOS can transcribe your speech on-device, as explained above.
Ash is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
